Theta EdgeCloud gains a critical new feature today with support for GPU clusters, a key requirement in training large AI models. Nodes in a cluster can communicate directly to each other with minimal latency, enabling distributed AI models on EdgeCloud.

For Theta users who currently store their THETA/TFUEL/TNT20 tokens on Ledger - we are working directly with Ledger team re: the phasing out of blind signing. They have confirmed that blind signing will continue beyond June, and no users will lose access to their Theta assets via the current Theta Web Wallet access method. We are also working with them on a longer term solution to improve the user experience, targeting release this fall. Ledger team has assured us they will ensure no user access is at risk, and we'll continue to update the community as things progress.
With the excitement leading up to EdgeCloud release on May 1, we’ve seen many questions from Theta community on how the Elite+ Booster upgrade will work and how much they can earn. You can learn about this exciting new feature in the new Q&A blog:
Notice to current Theta Video API users! As part of the transition to EdgeCloud, Theta Video API (TVA) accounts and data will be migrated to EdgeCloud on April 15. To complete this transition, TVA will be put into maintenance mode on Monday April 15 for approximately 1-2 days. During the maintenance period, all the streams and videos created prior to April 15 should not be affected and will be carried over into EdgeCloud (their playback URLs will not change). Any streams and videos created between Apr 15 and May 1 won't be carried over to EdgeCloud. After the data migration, on May 1st the TVA dashboard will become a product within EdgeCloud. At that time existing TVA users will be able to log into EdgeCloud with their TVA credentials. Your TVA credit balance and Stripe account will be carried over to EdgeCloud.

A few reminders to keep your Theta tokens safe: 1. THETA ERC20 tokens have no value as of March 2019, when Theta mainnet launched. 2. https://wallet.thetatoken.org is the ONLY official Theta web wallet. 3. https://swap.thetatoken.org is the ONLY official Theta swap site/service. 4. Metamask supports TFUEL and TNT20 tokens, but not THETA tokens. If you send THETA to your Metamask address, you’ll have to export your key and import the wallet into Theta Web Wallet to access your THETA. 5. If you have any questions or issues, you can submit a customer service ticket at https://support.thetanetwork.org/hc/en-us.
