Blocks will always be ~10 minutes apart and there will always be 21M Bitcoin
When you save in Bitcoin, you can focus on just accumulating over time and you're pretty much guaranteed to break even or be in profit after 4 years of holding
On the other hand, modern-day "investing" is like playing a game of hot potato
If you're caught holding an asset at the wrong time, you may have to deal with an extended bear market in its price (possibly decades long)
Or worse, you may end up with NOTHING if the fundamentals suddenly change and the asset may NEVER go back to the price you purchased it for
In terms of legacy "assets," you have to pay attention to the market sentiment PLUS supply changes at all times, while the only factor that changes in Bitcoin is market sentiment
You can spend your entire life working and delaying gratification, but the financial industry will print more fake money and dilute your savings within seconds
It's crazy that everyone is okay with working for 40 years to retire for 10
And then when you do have the opportunity to retire early, everyone will gaslight you into thinking that it's not even worth it because "studies say you'll die early if you're not working"
