I never listened to a podcast more relevant for my life than the one of @naval on Modern Wisdom.
Some takeaways for myself:
- I’ll start living my life unapologetically. I don’t owe anyone anything. No explanation, no reply, no knowledge, no time, no mental space, nothing.
- I will start doing way less things I don’t feel like doing. The period of saying yes to as much as possible is over.
- The relationships in my life should be a fair value exchange. I’m done with value extractors.
- I will not reply anymore to 80% of my messages. This will free time to focus on what I want to focus on. People have no clue how much time I spend having pointless conversations every day.
- I’m not going to be available 24/7 anymore. This whole concept is completely ridiculous to begin with. Who the hell wants to be available for everyone all the time? This is a disease that comes with social media and smartphones.
There’s more which I will not write down. But damn, this podcast might be a game changer.
