A deeply embedded misconception among crypto people is that SoV is a get rich scheme. No, it is not. It is a get poor slowly scheme. SoV needs to work when nothing works. It is a hedge against chaos.

SoV is "Store" of value i.e. store purchasing power (not increase it)

The only reason why people have become rich from Bitcoin is because they have wagered earlier than others that Bitcoin will finally become an SoV. You can call them visionary or gamblers. But the alpha has been to believe earlier than others and take nonsensical amounts of risk.

And the adoption curve from retail to most conservative institutions is a clear display of such risk preferences.

All the best for any other asset even remotely trying to copy the Bitcoin formula.

Everything is happening in line with the pattern. Banks are now adopting public ledgers. A few more years to go before traditional banking will be run seamlessly on the blockchain infrastructure.
