Polygon is upgrading its entire ecosystem with Polygon 2.0, and a big part of that upgrade is the new POL token. POL replaces MATIC as the native token of the Polygon network. What Happens to Old MATIC?
Once you migrate to POL your MATIC tokens are replaced and removed from circulation. MATIC will slowly phase out as POL becomes the new standard across Polygon 2.0.
