@BitlayerLabs Partners with Binance to Transform Bitcoin’s DeFi Landscape
#Bitlayer is positioning Bitcoin as a powerful DeFi hub through its BTCFi innovation.
The BitVM Bridge enables seamless swapping of BTC for 1:1 YBTC tokens, connecting Bitcoin to chains such as Sui, Base, Arbitrum, and Cardano. This integration allows users to stake, lend, and trade with ease, without the need for complex multisignature setups.
The Bitlayer Network, set to launch in Q2 2025, will operate as a Bitcoin Rollup, hosting over 200 decentralized applications and managing $850 million in total value locked (TVL). It merges Ethereum compatibility with Bitcoin’s robust security to deliver high-speed DeFi applications.
With $25 million in backing from leading investors, Bitlayer has established strong partnerships with mining pools, cross-chain platforms, and major wallets.
