$BTC PNC Partners with Coinbase to Offer Crypto Access to Clients
PNC Bank has formed a strategic partnership with cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase to expand digital asset services for its clients.
The collaboration will leverage Coinbase’s institutional-grade Crypto-as-a-Service platform to enable PNC’s banking clients and institutional investors to buy, hold and sell cryptocurrencies securely through PNC’s systems.
PNC will also provide select banking services to Coinbase as part of the agreement, which aims to build a more resilient digital financial ecosystem. The initial offering focuses on core cryptocurrency transactions, combining PNC’s client service infrastructure with Coinbase’s security-first technology. PNC Chairman and CEO William S.
Demchak stated the partnership accelerates the bank’s ability to deliver innovative crypto solutions, citing growing demand for streamlined digital asset access on trusted platforms. Coinbase Institutional head Brett Tejpaul emphasized PNC’s market leadership and highlighted how Coinbase’s tools will help PNC develop a scalable, secure digital assets business.
