Ethereum's Fusaka Update Scheduled for November Launch, Followed by Glamsterdam
Ethereum's network is set for a major upgrade, Fusaka, in November, marking its second significant improvement this year. The core development team aims to enhance the network's scalability with the Fusaka upgrade. Following this, the Glamsterdam upgrade's details will be finalized in the coming weeks. This upgrade comes six months after Pectra's release, showing the network's rapid growth.
Before Fusaka's launch, two public test nets will be initiated in September and October. Key proposals included in the Fusaka upgrade are EIP-7594: PeerDAS, for scaling data availability, EIP-7825: Transaction Gas Limit Cap, for introducing a gas cap in each transaction, and EIP-7934: RLP Execution Block Size Limit, for reducing the chances of DoS attacks.
