Since the market is starting to turn green very quickly again, here are some trading strategies.

1) Many people mistakenly think that trading skill is directly proportional to the ability to "guess" the direction of movement. I don't think so. Trading skill is much more determined by what you'll do AFTER the trade is opened, i.e. it's the skill of "managing the trade". Yes, seeing the trend on your working timeframe is important, you still need to choose whether to open long or short. But a trend trade is just the beginning of the trade's life.

2) Global forecasts. I don't like making forecasts even a month ahead, because at least 50% of the time it's pointless. Then Trump comes with tariffs, inflation suddenly spikes, or another war starts. I don't make forecasts, I give scenario probabilities: "If this happens, then this is more likely to happen". But it's just probability, which is designed to not work sometimes.

3) I don't know where price will go in the future. You don't need to know this at all. The biggest losses come to those who are firmly convinced of the future direction. It's much simpler - if the chart is growing, you go long, if falling - short. Half the time price immediately starts going against your trade and skills from point #1 come into play, i.e. the "internal quality detector" of the trade. Either you immediately understand it's better to jump out with a small loss, or you give it time expecting a small pullback. Each situation is individual and doesn't repeat 100%

4) Sitting with an open trade, a person fights not with the chart, but with themselves. In the end you more often choose between rules and hope. Better to choose rules, at least those can be changed

5) Losing money in trading is normal. Even more - it's mandatory. If you don't lose - you don't earn. Trading was invented to lose money. Sometimes you earn, but better to consider that a side effect. The main task of a trader isn't to stop losses (that's impossible), but to lose as little as possible. Don't think about profit, think about losses.
