The PlayStation State of Play event showcased the first look at 007 First Light, a James Bond action game set for release in 2026. Arc System Works also showcased Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls, a Marvel fighting game launching on PS5, Epic, and Steam in 2026. 

PlayStation showcased 007 First Light at its June 4th State of Play event. The developer revealed the James Bond spy game will be released in 2026.

Arc System Works, the creator of Dragon Ball FighterZ, revealed it is developing a 4V4 Marvel action game titled Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls. PlayStation said the Marvel action game will be released on Steam, Epic, and PS5 in 2026. Team Ninja also showcased Nioh 3 for PS5, saying gamers can play its demo game until June 18.

Sony announced its first wireless fighting stick, codenamed Project Defiant. The company said the wireless fighting stick, designed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, will provide gamers with flexibility on how they wish to play action games. PlayStation revealed that gamers could opt to either play wirelessly through PlayStation Link Technology or a wired connection on PC or PS5.

PlayStation also unveiled Silent Hill, a third-person horror game, which will come to PS5 on September 25 this year. 

Digimon Story: Time Stranger, developed by Bandai Namco, is also coming to PS5 on November 3, 2025.

The company also revealed Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, developed by Square Enix Games. PlayStation said Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles will have a classic version, two versions of the original title, and an improved version. The firm clarified that Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles will be coming to PS4 and PS5 this September. 

The gaming entity also announced Baby Steps, an exploration game, saying gamers should expect the game on September 8 on PS5.

PlayStation unveiled Hirogami, revealing that it will be launching on September 3 on PS5.

The firm also announced Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots, revealing the game will have courses in 10 regions, each with nighttime variants and weather effects. The game will be available on September 5 on the PS5. 

PlayStation revealed Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, saying the game will be released on PS5 and PS4 on July 21 this year. The firm also announced Cairn, showcasing its perilous and scenic climb up a mountain. The company revealed that Cairn will launch on November 5, 2025, on the PS5. Sony also said gamers could download a demo of Cairn today. 

The gaming firm announced Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection. The company revealed that the new collection will contain titles such as Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, and more. PlayStation said the new Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection collection will be released in 2025 for both PS5 and PS4. 

PlayStation showcases 2026 releases

The firm unveiled Lumines Arise, saying the game would come from Hydelic, the developer behind Tetris Effect. The company added that Lumines Arise will have an optional PS VR2 compatibility. PlayStation also showcased the Pragmata trailer, a Capcom game with a sci-fi setting, coming to PS5 in 2026. 

The firm showed off Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow, revealing the game will feature loads of robbery, stealth, and action. The company revealed Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow will be coming to VR in 2025. PlayStation also unveiled Tides of Tomorrow, a first-person action game coming to PS5 on February 24, 2026. 

The gaming company also revealed its 2D side-scroller game titled Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement, saying it will be out in 2026 on the PS5. The firm revealed Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement was produced by Shutaro (SHUTARO) Iida and Koji (IGA) Igarashi at ArtPlay.

The gaming firm revealed a cartoonish action game titled Romeo is a Dead Man. The company said Romeo is a Dead Man, developed by Grasshopper Manufacture, will be released in 2026.
