A few days ago, @virtuals_io introduced their referral system, giving active users a new way to earn passively by bringing fresh participants into the ecosystem 🔱

This post will cover everything you need to know to start earning through referrals.

The first thing to do is to share your referral code (obviously). You can find your referral code on your profile page on the Virtuals site.

If someone signs up with your code and starts trading agent tokens (like $ARBUS or $VIRGEN) against $VIRTUAL in a taxed liquidity pool, you earn a portion of the trading fees from their activity.

Now, there are two levels of rewards.

You get 20% of the tax from anyone you refer directly. If they bring someone else in, you also get 5% from that second person’s trading.

So for example, if your referral buys $AGENTX in a $VIRTUAL pool and pays a $10 tax, you pocket $2. If their friend does the same, you get 50 cents. The chain stops there, cause only two layers count.

You should also note that rewards are only paid on trading activity in pools where taxes apply. So if someone trades on a CEX, or uses a tax-free pair like $VIRTUAL/USDT, it doesn’t qualify.

Same goes for tokens that have no tax set up, like some migrated agents or exceptions like $LUNA. And if someone forgets to enter your code before their first trade, you're out of luck cause referral credit isn’t retroactive.

Staking and yapping won’t earn you anything here either. Only buying and selling in the right pools counts. Everything else, including passive farming, does NOT feed into the referral rewards.

🔸 REWARDS

Rewards are paid out daily in $VIRTUAL and are drawn from a fixed 1% tax on trades. Every eligible trade from someone in your network starts feeding you rewards automatically.

It is a simple system with high upside, especially if you’re well connected/respected on CT or have friends starting out. One good referral can become a daily stream if they’re active. And since payouts just began a few days ago, now is a good time to start sharing your code.

Best of luck!
