According to PANews, Indian Federal Minister Jayant Chaudhary has reported a 19% increase in his cryptocurrency investments, now valued at $25,500 (2.131 million INR). This marks the second consecutive year that a member of India's cabinet has disclosed their digital asset holdings, amidst ongoing regulatory challenges in the country's broader cryptocurrency policy. Chaudhary's spouse also revealed an 18% growth in their investment portfolio, reaching $26,800 (2.242 million INR). Both attributed their investment funds to 'personal savings' but did not specify the types of cryptocurrencies held.

India continues to lead the global cryptocurrency adoption index published by Chainalysis for 2025, yet its regulatory framework remains significantly behind grassroots development. Earlier today, India rejected comprehensive cryptocurrency regulation, citing concerns over systemic risks.
