I've been spending more time reading about Babylon, and the more I dig into it, the less I think BTC staking is the most interesting part of the project. What keeps pulling me back is the idea that Bitcoin can actually be useful beyond just sitting in a wallet, without asking people to wrap it or hand it over to someone else.

Recent developments around Trustless Bitcoin Vaults, Ledger support, and borrowing integrations make it feel like Babylon is quietly building the foundations for Bitcoin to become reliable collateral instead of just another yield asset.
The part I find most interesting isn't any single partnership or feature. It's the decision to keep security and custody rooted in Bitcoin itself. Anyone can offer attractive returns, but reducing trust assumptions is much harder. That's the piece I think many people are overlooking, and it's probably the one that will matter most over time.
